Although this trailer may be old, it is not one that should go unseen. There have been tons of rumors about a possible Elephant 6 documentary, but nothing has amounted yet aside from this trailer made almost a year ago. The video includes some old video footage and interviews, but unfortunately no Kevin Barnes. Let’s hope some publicity will make whoever posted it give some more!

Austin City Limits Music Festival just announced their lineup for the three day series that will be at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas from October 12th-14th. Kishi Bashi is going to be performing as well as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, the Avett Brothers, the Black Keys, Florence + the Machine, Metric, and so so many more.

On May 20th in Los Angeles, there will be the second annual ten hour long block party at the Hudson. Doors open at 11am and it goes all day long. The event brings the community and local vendors together to celebrate and there will be four open bars to accommodate everyone because it’s probably going to get crazy!

Some bands to look forward to are an of Montreal DJ set, White Rabbits (on their only west coast performance this summer until they play Lollapalooza), Skeet Skeet, Saint Motel, and many many more.

Kishi Bashi recently played on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert. His set list included “Improvisation/Atticus, in the Desert,” “Bright Whites,” and “I Am the Antichrist to You.”

Filter Magazine is having their 3rd annual Culture Collide Festival in Los Angeles from October 4th-7th. Echo Park will be filled with four days of art, music, and film, and of course the happy people enjoying it all.

Artists from across the globe will be performing as well as free food and drinks being served from many different cultures. Some bands that will be performing will be of Montreal, Junip from Sweden, John Talabot from Spain, Marit Larsen from Norway, and so many more. The festival will be host to ten stages of music and an all-day block party on Sunday.

You can start off now and buy a $20 wristband way in advance. These things are known to sell out quick, so get on it!

Kishi Bashi recently played at a happy hour for TBWA, a huge advertising agency. He performed “Atticus in the Desert” which can be found on his new album, 151a.
